I work hard to ensure that my lessons are personalised to each student in order for them to achieve their goals. Whether you're looking to build confidence in a subject, work through tricky concepts, or push for top grades, I adapt my approach to suit you.
I have experience tutoring A-Level maths and chemistry, building lessons around the specific topics students are working on in their curriculum. My lessons follow a clear structure — introducing a topic, working through examples together, then giving students the chance to attempt questions independently before reviewing their answers. I'm patient and adaptable, adjusting my approach in real time depending on how a student is responding.
Each lesson is built around where you are in your curriculum and what you need most at that point — whether that's getting to grips with a new concept, consolidating something you've already covered, or working through past paper questions ahead of an exam. I don't follow a rigid script; if something isn't clicking, we slow down and approach it differently until it does.
I believe the best way to learn is by doing. Explanations are important, but real understanding comes from working through problems yourself and getting clear, constructive feedback on where you went right or wrong. My aim is always to leave you feeling more confident and capable after every session — not just having copied down a method, but actually understanding why it works and how to apply it in different contexts.
