About me

I base each students lessons around their interests and abilities. If you've never played before, we will start from the beginning - I use a couple of different piano books depending on which suits you best, and will mix them up with pieces you are interested in learning. We will practice scales, theory and technical exercises along the way so that, should you decide you would like to enter for y...
I base each students lessons around their interests and abilities. If you've never played before, we will start from the beginning - I use a couple of different piano books depending on which suits you best, and will mix them up with pieces you are interested in learning. We will practice scales, theory and technical exercises along the way so that, should you decide you would like to enter for your ABRSM Piano exams, we will have all of the foundations in place to do that!

I am a neurodiverse teacher and very experienced with SEND children and adults. I aim to make your lessons relaxed and fun, and we will go at a speed and length of lesson which suits you.

I have played piano for over 30 years and am currently working my way through Mendelssohns Songs Without Words.
