I am an experienced and patient Maths tutor supporting Primary, KS3 and GCSE students from different learning backgrounds and abilities. I currently work within UK schools and have experience supporting both UK-based and international learners, including SEN students and those who struggle with confidence in Maths.
My teaching style is calm, structured and interactive. I focus on breaking difficult topics into smaller, manageable steps to help students build genuine understanding rather than simply memorising methods. I adapt lessons to suit each student’s pace and learning style, creating a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and working through challenges without pressure.
I regularly use guided examples, practice questions, problem-solving activities and exam-style tasks to strengthen understanding and improve performance. I also support students with revision planning, exam preparation and confidence-building techniques to help reduce anxiety around Maths.
I believe every student can improve in Maths when given the right support, encouragement and learning approach. I aim to make lessons engaging, motivating and easy to follow, helping students feel more positive about the subject over time. I am also committed to building strong communication with students and parents to monitor progress, identify areas for improvement and celebrate achievements. Whether a student needs help catching up, preparing for exams or boosting confidence, I provide patient and personalised support designed to help them reach their full potential and succeed academically.
