Hi, my name is Bea, and I’m a 13-year-old maths tutor offering support to younger students who want to build confidence and improve their understanding of maths. Because I have recently learned the same topics myself, I understand where students often get stuck and how confusing maths can feel at times. I explain concepts clearly and step-by-step, using simple language and real life examples that make sense and show how important this is. My goal is not only to help students get the right answer, but to help them understand why a method works, so they feel more confident working independently. I feel am a patient, friendly, and organised tutor who has experience in field. Lessons are structured around the student’s needs, whether that is help with homework, revising for tests, or strengthening key skills. I adjust my explanations to suit each student’s learning style and always encourage questions in a relaxed, supportive environment. I have a strong understanding of the maths curriculum and consistently achieve high results myself. I have also helped classmates and my younger siblings improve their confidence and performance in maths. I believe that enjoying learning and feeling comfortable asking questions are just as important as practising exam questions. I know that maths can be stressful and I understand why it is some people’s least favourite subject but it’s my mission to change that. I am reliable, respectful, and take tutoring seriously. I am happy to communicate with parents about progress and areas that may need more focus. My aim is to make maths less stressful and more approachable while helping students improve their skills and confidence over time.
