A lot of the lesson may be student led: you can tell me the parts of the subject you struggle with, and then I can rely on my own knowledge and further research to help you further. If it's dates, we can set up quizzes to reaffirm the knowledge. If it's timelines, we can try create a visual representation to solidify the memory. If it's to do with languages, there's a great variety of approaches...
