Bavishya Murugathas

I have tutored for around a year for both Year 9-11 students in STEM subjects and maths for children aged 9-11. My lessons are formatted around the specification which my student is studying. I usually use a PowerPoint when teaching but also use images and drawing to get my vision across. I like to bring in active recall into my lessons and make sure to give a lot of past paper questions at the end of the lesson so me and the student can both work together on some of the questions but also give the time for my students to work independently on these questions as well. This way they practise answering questions by themselves which is what they’ll be doing in topic tests and future examinations.
