I have been teaching Spanish and English as a second language for over 40 years in colleges and language schools in the UK, Latin America and Spain. I have a degree, a PGCE and an MA in Language Teaching. I am fluent in Spanish.
Over many years, I have developed a communicative activity which i call 'Mind the Gap'. This involves students in pairs learning language by using question and answer language. Here, the students can choose the language they wish to communicate.
