Hi, I’m Bami, and I’m passionate about helping students feel more confident in their learning. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I don’t believe in using the exact same approach for every student.

My lessons are friendly, patient and interactive. I like to first understand what you are struggling with and what you want to achieve, then build our lessons around that. Whether you need help with English, grammar, writing, reading, speaking or simply want to become more confident, I’ll break things down into simple steps and make sure you understand before moving on.

I have a law degree, which has developed my communication, writing, research and attention-to-detail skills. During university, I also spent time supporting and teaching children through my church’s juvenile unit, working with different age groups. This taught me the importance of patience, encouragement and explaining things in a way that makes sense to the individual student.

I want my lessons to be somewhere you can ask questions without feeling embarrassed or pressured. We can work through difficult topics together, practise what you have learned and focus on areas where you need the most support.

Most importantly, I want you to leave each lesson feeling that you have genuinely learned something and are a little more confident than when you started. Whether you are preparing for school, improving your English or simply want extra support, I’ll be happy to work with you.
