I have often helped my younger brother and a small group of his friends (around five to six students) with their GCSE and A-Level studies, and later supported them during university with subjects like Maths, English, Science, and Economics.
My lessons are interactive, structured, and tailored to each student’s needs. I begin by understanding the student’s current level and goals, then break down complex concepts into simple, practical explanations.
I use clear examples, guided practice, and step-by-step problem solving to help students build strong understanding and confidence. My aim is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and steadily improving their academic performance.
In my lessons, I focus on building strong fundamentals first, as this helps students approach more challenging topics with confidence. I encourage students to think critically and actively engage with the material rather than simply memorising information. Depending on the subject, we may work through practice exercises, past exam questions, or real-world examples to strengthen understanding. I also regularly check progress to make sure concepts are fully understood before moving forward. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to develop their confidence, independent thinking, and long-term learning skills.
