David Sasu

My lessons are structured around the individual student and their goals. We begin with a short review to identify any gaps, followed by a clear explanation of the topic using worked examples. The student then completes questions with my support before attempting exam-style questions independently.

I focus on helping students understand why a method works rather than simply memorising steps. I also teach exam technique, including how to interpret questions, show working clearly, manage time and avoid common mistakes. Lessons are interactive and I regularly check understanding, adjust the pace and revisit areas where the student needs more support.

I have a strong academic background, having achieved 10 A*s at GCSE and A*AA at A-level, including an A in Mathematics. I then successfully completed medical school and now work as a medical doctor. My academic and medical experience has taught me how to study effectively, retain complex information and explain difficult concepts clearly.

I know first-hand what is required to achieve excellent grades. My aim is to pass those skills on and help students become more confident, accurate and independent in Maths.
