Dedicated and patient tutor who focuses on helping students build real understanding of the content. My lessons are interactive and tailored to each student’s learning style. For example, I would use diagrams and visuals for visual learners, or step-by-step explanations and practice questions for logical learners. I try to include questions for active recall at the end of each lesson to allow long term retention.

I create a safe and friendly environment where students can ask questions and ask to repeat explanations multiple times. I love seeing students grow in confidence and achieve things they once found difficult — that’s what motivates me most. It is a highly rewarding job.

I have a strong background in Biology, Chemistry and Psychology and I’m familiar with the A-level curriculum of the AQA exam board. I have achieved A* in both biology and psychology and A in chemistry. I also have a strong background in biology and chemistry at GCSE as I achieved 9-9 in combined science.

I have tutoring experience of over 2 years. I have tutored secondary school students for their GCSE exams and witnessed progress being made. I have also tutored EAL students and helped them pass their exams confidently.
