My lessons are designed to be fun, interactive and genuinely useful. I believe that children learn best when they are actively involved in the lesson, rather than simply listening to someone explain a topic. That is why I create creative and engaging activities that are enjoyable while still having a clear learning purpose.
I start by understanding the student’s individual strengths, areas they find challenging and the way they learn best. I then adapt my lessons to their needs and pace, breaking difficult topics into simple, manageable steps. I use clear explanations, examples, questions, games, quizzes and activities to help students understand concepts rather than simply memorising them.
I also want students to feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions. Building confidence is just as important to me as improving academic ability, because I want students to leave each lesson feeling like they have achieved something.
As a university student, I understand that learning can sometimes feel overwhelming or boring when it is not taught in a way that connects with you. My aim is to make every lesson feel positive, encouraging and something to look forward to, while ensuring that students are continuously making progress.
Whether a student needs extra support, wants to strengthen their existing knowledge or simply wants to become more confident, I will create lessons that are personalised, engaging and focused on helping them succeed. Most importantly, I want every student to finish each lesson feeling proud, motivated and excited about what they can achieve next.
