I have two years experience tutoring, and have achieved a grade 9 in GCSE Mathematics and Further Mathematics, as well as Physics and Chemistry. I have an A* at A level Mathematics and Physics, with an A in Chemistry, and am currently studying at UCL. My lessons are fun, professional and highly efficient, allowing students to work in a way that helps them learn and become better.

I prioritise students working to solve problems, rather than a show and explain approach. By providing a safe space for students to try out new skills and learn new concepts with structure and practice means that students can quickly improve.

I create trackers for students via spreadsheets, creating a clear way to see tangible progress and mark down improvements. I work through topics and clearly show progress to students and give them a clear method and guide to achieving their desired grades come exams.

Having both taken GCSEs fairly recently and tutoring for the past two years, I can definitely say I know what works when it comes to how students learn, and the best methods to save time and remove margin for error, which often is enough to put students in the best place to get that 9. Often, there’s a lot to be learnt outside of school, such as exam technique and methods that can help you be that little bit faster in class and in exams.

Students will find a dynamic and laid back approach in lessons, and personalised techniques and approaches that will have them feeling confident rather than stressed when put in unfamiliar situations.
