I am a current A-Level student who achieved a perfect Grade 9 in GCSE Biology, scoring a massive 25 marks above the top grade boundary, which earned me an academic scholarship at my sixth form. Having sat these exact exams very recently, I have a deep, fresh understanding of the current curriculum, the intense pressure students face, and—most importantly—exactly how picky and penalising exam boards can be.

My teaching approach is built entirely around efficiency and exam strategy rather than just memorising thick textbooks. I cut right through the fluff to deliver clear, concise, and to-the-point explanations that make complex biological processes easy to digest.

A typical lesson with me is dynamic and highly structured. We spend the first part of the session breaking down difficult topics using clear visuals. Because I provide my students with my own complete, mark-scheme-specific notes, they do not waste precious hours of our lessons or their own revision time writing out definitions.

This leaves the majority of our sessions completely free for high-impact practice. We dive straight into past papers, breaking down model answers line by line to understand exactly how examiners award marks. I teach my students the specific keywords and phrasing required by exam boards (such as AQA, Edexcel, and OCR), leaving picky examiners zero room to deduct marks.
