Hello, my name is Aya. I have three years of experience as a Japanese language teacher. I teach using both English and Japanese, depending on each student’s level and goals.

I was born and raised in Japan, and I have also lived in Australia, New Zealand, and the United States. I am currently living in Malaysia.

I love traveling and am interested in learning about different cultures and history. In my lessons, I enjoy sharing not only the Japanese language, but also Japanese culture, history, and the background behind them in a fun and engaging way.

I have three years of experience teaching Japanese and a total of 15 years of experience as a language teacher. I tailor my lessons to each student’s needs and teach using both English and Japanese.

I have taught learners of various levels, from complete beginners to advanced students. In my lessons, I teach practical Japanese for travel, everyday conversation, business Japanese, and JLPT preparation (N4 and N5).

In our first lesson, I will take the time to understand your goals, level, and learning style so I can suggest lessons that suit you best. Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to take your Japanese to the next level, I will support you step by step in a clear and enjoyable way.

You will also have the opportunity to experience lessons taught in both English and Japanese, so you can learn with confidence and feel comfortable throughout the process.
