My lessons are supportive, engaging, and fully tailored to each learner’s individual needs. I understand that every child learns differently, so I adapt my approach to help them feel confident and capable. Whether your child needs help with homework, core subject support in maths and English, or targeted transfer test preparation, I create a calm, encouraging space where they can succeed.

A typical lesson begins with a quick check-in and a review of previous learning to strengthen understanding. We then move into new content using interactive activities, clear explanations, and lots of opportunities for practice. I love to keep lessons varied and fun, so students stay motivated while still making strong academic progress.

For transfer tests specifically, I focus heavily on practising past papers and recognising common question patterns. This helps students become familiar with the format, improve speed and accuracy, and learn the strategies needed to feel confident on test day. Together, we identify areas for improvement and build strong skills step by step.

I have experience tutoring primary school children across multiple subjects as well as supporting final-year pharmacy students, which has given me a broad academic background and the ability to simplify tricky concepts. My aim is not just to teach the right answers, but to help students understand the “why” behind them.
