My lessons are structured, interactive, and tailored to each student’s goals and level. I typically begin by identifying gaps in understanding, then build concepts step by step using clear explanations and worked examples before moving to guided practice. I place strong emphasis on intuition as well as technical accuracy, helping students understand not just how methods work, but why they work.
Depending on the student’s needs, sessions may focus on problem-solving practice, exam preparation, coursework support, or strengthening core theory. I encourage active participation throughout, with frequent questions, checkpoints, and discussion to ensure concepts are fully understood before progressing.
With over 500 hours of university teaching experience across calculus, algebra, linear algebra, real analysis, mechanics, and mathematical modelling, I am comfortable supporting learners from introductory to advanced Honours level. I have taught in one-to-one, small group, and large class settings, both in-person and online, and I adapt my teaching style to suit each learner.
My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel confident, engaged, and able to develop independent problem-solving skills.
