My lessons are interactive, practical, and tailored to each student’s level and interests. I focus on building both technical skills and creative confidence in art and design. Each session combines demonstrations, guided exercises, and project-based tasks, allowing students to learn by doing. I use real-world examples from social media campaigns, graphic design projects, and digital media to illustrate concepts, making lessons engaging and relevant. Students are encouraged to experiment with different techniques, explore their personal style, and receive constructive feedback to improve their work.
I integrate a variety of tools, including digital illustration, animation, and design software, alongside traditional drawing and design exercises, depending on the student’s goals. Lessons are structured step-by-step, ensuring clarity and progress while keeping sessions interactive and fun. Drawing on my experience creating content for brands and my ongoing MA in Graphic Communication at Nottingham Trent University, I aim to inspire students, foster creativity, and guide them toward achieving tangible improvements in their artistic skills and confidence.
In addition, I encourage students to set creative goals and track their progress, helping them stay motivated and see measurable improvements. Lessons are flexible, adapting to the student’s pace, strengths, and areas for development. I also incorporate interactive discussions, critiques, and brainstorming sessions, allowing students to think critically and gain a deeper understanding of design principles. My approach ensures that students not only learn techniques but also develop problem-solving skills, creativity, and confidence, preparing them to apply their knowledge in real-world art and design projects.
