Every lesson I deliver follows a clear, structured approach that is designed to build confidence, improve understanding, and help students achieve their full potential. At the beginning of each session, I take the time to discuss what the student already knows about the topic, identify any areas they find challenging, and encourage them to ask any questions they may have. This allows me to tailor each lesson to their individual needs, ensuring our time together is focused and productive.

Once I have established their current level of understanding, I explain new concepts in a clear and engaging way before introducing practice questions. I always begin with simpler questions to reinforce the key ideas and build confidence before gradually increasing the level of difficulty as the student progresses. Throughout the lesson, I provide guidance, encouragement, and constructive feedback, helping students develop not only the correct answers but also the skills and confidence to solve similar problems independently.

I recognise that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit each individual. Whether a student benefits most from visual diagrams and whiteboard explanations, real-life examples, step-by-step demonstrations, or additional practice, I will adjust my approach to match their preferred learning style. My aim is to create an engaging and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and are encouraged to develop a genuine understanding of the subject.

In addition, I have experience working with younger students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), which has strengthened my patience, communication skills, and ability to adapt lessons to meet a wide range of learning needs. I understand that some students require more time, different teaching strategies, or additional encouragement, and I am committed to ensuring every student feels supported and valued throughout their learning journey.

Above all, my goal is to help every student leave each lesson feeling more confident, motivated, and capable than when they arrived. I strive to create a positive learning experience that not only improves academic performance but also develops the confidence and independent learning skills that will benefit students long after our lessons together.
