Arun Penhall

I am currently a undergraduate student in English Literature at King’s College London. I use either Microsoft teams or Skype to conduct the lessons. Each lesson is one hour and I charge on an hourly basis.

I am an energetic tutor who is enthusiastic about teaching English Literature to gcse and A-level as well as English language at gcse level.

I like to focus on the specific needs that each student has and I begin by working through previous struggles and triumphs that students have had in the subject.

I take a personalised approach to each student by setting some homework and marking any exam paper questions that they have competed. My lessons are led by the student's needs and from there I formulate a plan of improvement.

I will always engage with the student and find ways to improve their ability and confidence in the subject. I teach any exam board at gcse and Pearson edexcel at A-level. With both English Literature and Language after finding out the level each student is at and their abilities, I formulate a plan which aims to improve their ability and of course grades.

I will accommodate any needs within the subject and any ability, the aim for everyone is to get better and hopefully enjoy the subject more.
