Arun Dobson

Having played guitar for over a decade, studied music at the University of Oxford, and currently working as a professional musician, I have a great deal of experience as both a student and a teacher of both acoustic, electric, and bass guitar. In the first lesson, we will discuss your goals for learning guitar, and the type of music you hope to learn to play. From this, I will tailor a lesson plan that develops your guitar skills, whether you are a complete beginner or have previous experience with specific areas you want to improve. Having a degree in music, I am able to teach the fundamentals of theory and help you progress to a higher level of theoretical understanding. That being said, if you don’t care about theory and simply want to learn songs, that’s fine! I am well versed in a broad range of styles, and can hopefully help you with whatever guitar aspirations you have. Feel free to get in touch and we can chat about organising a lesson!
