My lessons are fully online and tailored to each student’s individual level, needs and goals. I start by understanding what the student is currently working on and which areas they find difficult. This allows me to plan lessons around the topics that will be most useful to them.
During lessons, I explain each topic clearly and break difficult questions down into smaller steps. We will work through examples together before moving on to practice questions, giving the student the opportunity to apply what they have learned. I encourage students to ask questions throughout the lesson and I am happy to explain a topic in different ways if something is not clear.
Lessons can include support with schoolwork and homework, revision for tests, GCSE exam preparation, past paper questions, problem solving and improving exam technique. For students who are already confident, I can also provide more challenging questions to help them develop their skills further.
I have a Grade 9 in GCSE Maths and an A in A-Level Maths. My aim is to make Maths less stressful and more understandable while helping students become more confident and independent when solving questions.
I also believe that regular practice is important for making progress, so I will encourage students to practise between lessons where appropriate. I can help identify areas that need more attention and adjust future lessons based on their progress. This means students can gradually build their skills and feel more prepared for their schoolwork and exams and achieve their goals.
