I am a passionate and supportive tutor who enjoys helping students build confidence in subjects they may find challenging. I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor my teaching style to suit each individual’s needs, learning pace, and goals. My aim is not only to help students improve their grades but also to develop a genuine understanding of the material.
I have experience tutoring both GCSE and primary school students in subjects including Maths, Business, and Social Sciences. Through this experience, I have learned how important patience, clear explanations, and encouragement are when helping students overcome difficult topics. I focus on creating a positive and comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process.
My teaching style is interactive and hands-on. Rather than simply explaining concepts, I involve students in problem-solving and discussions so they actively engage with the material. This approach helps students retain information better and develop stronger independent learning skills.
I also track progress regularly to ensure students are improving and meeting their goals. Each week, I assess understanding through practice questions and review any areas that may need additional support. This allows lessons to remain focused and effective. I use this to tailor my lessons further to the needs of the student as to help them in the way they need.
Ultimately, my goal as a tutor is to help students feel more confident in their abilities while developing the knowledge and skills they need to succeed academically.
