Arran Harvey

My lessons are designed to be engaging, supportive, and tailored to the individual needs of each child. With 6 years of teaching experience, I have developed a strong understanding of how children learn best and how to make lessons enjoyable while building confidence and independence. I use a range of teaching strategies, including pictorial representations, visual aids, and manipulatives, to help children understand new concepts and make connections between ideas. My lessons are interactive and encourage children to ask questions, explain their thinking, and develop a deeper understanding of their learning.

I have a strong knowledge and understanding of the KS1 and KS2 curriculums, as well as the expectations for pupils at each stage of their development. I am able to identify areas where children may need extra support and adapt my teaching to help them make progress. Whether supporting children with new concepts, consolidating existing skills, or preparing them for assessments, I create a positive and encouraging learning environment where every child feels valued and motivated to succeed.
