I completed my PhD in Law at a British university last year, passing my viva voce examination with no corrections. I also hold an LLM by Research in the History and Philosophy of Law from a British university within the Russell Group. With more than nine years of university teaching experience in legal modules, I am dedicated to helping students develop their legal knowledge, analytical ability, legal reasoning, and critical thinking skills. My areas of expertise include English contract law and jurisprudence. I explain complex concepts, doctrines, and theories in a clear and structured manner that promotes deep understanding without oversimplification. Through discussion-based teaching, including the Socratic method and practical examples, I encourage independent critical thinking and help students understand the connections between jurisprudential theories, private law doctrines, and legal reasoning. This approach prepares students for rigorous analytical engagement and strengthens their ability to apply legal principles critically and effectively. I am able to support learners with essays, coursework, and exam preparation, and guide both university-level and pre-university law studies. I have developed a strong understanding of teaching and learning methods, including hybrid formats, for students from diverse cohorts and cultural backgrounds. This experience has given me confidence in my ability to teach, supervise, and support undergraduate students effectively, and to contribute as an excellent tutor by enabling students to understand key legal concepts and build confidence in their studies through structured and engaging online learning. My contributions to undergraduate learning and teaching have been positively received, and students have described me as supportive and noted that my teaching improved their academic performance.
