My preferred method is to have a Teams meeting, with students joined and cameras on. Throughout the lesson, a PowerPoint will be presented on the topic of the day and depending on the age group of whoever I am working with, the PowerPoints will be laid out to suit them. Students can ask questions whenever they need to and will be directed by myself to fill out questons or onlline documents I will have ready for them, and then instructed to send me their documents with their answers so we can assess and see where they went wrong and how I can improve on filling in the gaps in their learning. By maintaining discipline whilst keeping the online class at it's most comfortable for the students, lessons will commence very smoothly. Homework will be minimum, as I will be hoping to teach the most part of the subject during a lesson and give brief homework only to help with memory retrieval of the topic. With older classes, for example, say on the subject of computer components, I could ask the students to go to PC World and find out the pricing of different components and find out how they work in person, as this is a lot better as a hands on way of helping the student find out for themselves how a computer works.
