Arina Kalistratova

I am a current UCL student and English tutor with experience teaching GCSE English Language and Literature. My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs, whether they are aiming to improve their grades, build confidence in writing, or achieve top marks in their exams.

I focus on developing strong analytical, writing, and critical thinking skills rather than simply memorising content. Lessons are interactive and structured, with clear explanations, guided practice, exam technique support, and personalised feedback. I also help students improve essay structure, argument development, and written expression, which are skills that benefit them across multiple subjects.

Having recently navigated the education system myself, I understand the challenges students face and aim to create a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My goal is not only to help students achieve excellent academic results but also to become more confident and independent learners.
