Ari Mendoza Perez

I'm a private tutor with experience in 1-2-1 settings as well as small groups. I have worked as a teaching assistant for two years. I've worked in both mainstream and SEN settings. I also have experience leading the online learning platform at a SEN school, teaching core subjects such as English, Maths, Science for children aged 11-16. Whilst I was a student at university I also engaged in supporting fellow colleagues in learning Spanish.

For my methods of teaching, I'm quite flexible and I tend to adapt to my student's needs and preferences. Not everyone works at the same pace. I like to find common grounds to start a conversation and find areas of interest that we can link to the learning experience. I also tailor my approach to what my student wants to gain from my lessons.

I open to teachingt all ages and groups. I'm confident in my approach and teaching practices. I will be using the experience I gained as the online learning lead during my year at a secondary school to ensure our lessons are well led, with a broad curriculum. But, in my opinion, what will make it work is that I will ensure our lessons remain entertaining and tailored to your style and taste.


Due to life-work balance I can only offer online lessons, I am happy and confident in delivering these and we can decide whether we want conversation only or the full package. Depending on what you go for, I will also ensure to share resources.

I am happy to arrange weekly sessions, bi-weekly or several days a week depending on needs and preferences.
