¡Hola! I’m Archie, a Spanish speaker, passionate about teaching and sharing the beauty of the Spanish language and its culture with students! I have a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Linguistics.
As part of my degree course, I spent a year out in Spain teaching English as a foreign language at a school in Barcelona, which really developed my spoken Spanish and immersed me in the Spanish culture.
I am a friendly and outgoing person. I design my lessons to be interactive and engaging and make it enjoyable with games and quizzes. You'll learn not only grammar and vocabulary but also the nuances of Spanish in real world scenarios. My lessons are not just about learning a language; they combine education with fun!
I can offer more structured lessons too, having recently worked in a secondary school mentoring Spanish GCSE students; whether it's an in-depth exploration of a specific subject or guidance on assignments and test preparation. I like to keep the learning experience dynamic and enjoyable. My sessions will be customized to your goals.
I have experience teaching students of all ages and backgrounds, I am able to teach absolute beginners to key stage 4. My goal is to make you feel comfortable and confident using Spanish in any situation.
