Hi!
My name is Antara and I am a second year Medical student at King's College London. I enjoyed the subjects I study, making learning easily enjoyable. I achieved all 9s at GCSE and studied Biology, Chemistry and Spanish at A-Level, scoring A*AA.
I aim to deliver personalised and engaging lessons that suit each student's learning style. My main goal is to help students not only understand the material, but feel confident and motivated in their studies too. After being through the exams myself, I pass on what I found most useful during the process including exam specific tips, revision strategies and resources to give first hand insight to others. I strive to build a solid understanding in the student and form a supportive and encouraging environment.
Alongside content, I focus on building strong study habits, from active recall and spaced repetition to making realistic revision timetables that students can actually stick to. In lessons, I break down difficult concepts into clear steps, use plenty of practice questions, and check understanding throughout so that nothing is left unclear. I can help with exam technique too, such as how to approach longer mark questions, and time management under pressure. I’m patient, friendly, and happy to adapt the pace at any time. I want every student to leave lessons feeling capable, calm, and ready to improve.
I previously volunteered as a classroom assistant for a Year 2 class, and have been tutoring both GCSE and A-Level students for over 2 years. If you are interested, please do not hesitate to message me!
