My lessons are relaxed, friendly and tailored to each student. I start by identifying the areas they feel least confident in, then build lessons around their individual goals and syllabus. Depending on what they need, sessions can include close analysis of texts, essay planning and writing, exam technique, revision strategies and practice questions.

I aim to make lessons interactive rather than simply talking through content, encouraging students to explain their ideas and develop their own confidence. I’m currently studying English Literature and History at the University of Manchester, and I have experience working with children through my role as an activity instructor. I’m patient, approachable and happy to adapt my teaching style to suit different ages and abilities.
