I approach lessons with open-mindedness and with a plan. Every individual has a different learning style or prefers a specific one. As an IB teacher, I follow the Holistic Educational Approach where I centre all learners on their learning needs to cultivate emotional, psychological and spiritual attributes. I start with lesson planning, which is essential for any classroom, keeping the child's needs in mind. I would use mixed approach as my teaching style e.g. teacher centred, student centred or flipped classroom according to the lesson planned. That is followed by reflection (after class) to gauge the student's understanding using feedback from them on content taught and then plan ahead accordingly.
