I have previously tutored GCSE history students, creating personalised lesson plans to identify key areas of progression and consolidate existing knowledge. The students felt our sessions aided them in the run up to their exams, and they felt more confident after each session. Meeting once to twice a week tends to be most efficient for progression, but I am extremely flexible, as a recent graduate I understand the time constraints and stress placed on students, and will be of most help I can when you require.

Once we work together to understand topics that are most important moving forward, I will utilise my expertise in essay writing and academia to curate lesson plans and content unique to each students needs. I am aware that each student has their own strengths and areas for improvement, and will therefore be able to tailor each session to students requirements. I can be flexible on the topics covered/ dates/ session length. There is no set format, as one size does not fit all, and each individual has vastly different ways of learning. I take a personal and friendly approach to my work, to make sure the student gets the most out of their time.

My key skills include, grammar, critical analysis, essay writing (structure, theory, creative writing, critical thinking) as well as topics in literature, politics, and history. I am also happy to help with writing CV's and personal statements as I have a plethora of experience in both. I hope to be of help in the next chapter of your academic career!
