I am an experienced History teacher and GCSE History examiner, with a Master’s degree in History and Politics and four years of classroom teaching experience. I specialise in helping GCSE students build confidence, strengthen their historical knowledge and develop the exam skills they need to achieve their potential.

I have experience teaching a wide range of GCSE topics, including Weimar and Nazi Germany, Elizabethan England, the Cold War, Migration, Medicine Through Time, Crime and Punishment, and Conflict in Asia/Vietnam, and I am familiar with both Edexcel and AQA specifications.

My teaching style combines clear explanations, storytelling and structured exam practice. History should make sense before it is memorised, so I help students understand the connections between events, people and ideas rather than simply learning disconnected facts.
