Hello! I'm Anna, a second-year Mathematics and Computer Science student at École Polytechnique, and I'd love to help you discover programming or take your existing skills to the next level!
My lessons are practical, interactive, and adapted to your goals and experience. I believe the best way to learn programming is by actually writing code, experimenting, and figuring things out. We'll start with the concepts you need, break down complicated topics into simple explanations, and put everything into practice through exercises and real-world examples. Whether you're just starting with Python, struggling with algorithms, working on university assignments, or developing your own project, we'll find an approach that works for you.
I also believe that understanding why your code works is much more important than simply getting the right output. I'll encourage you to ask questions, make mistakes, experiment, and develop your own problem-solving skills rather than rely on AI-generated solutions.
Outside my studies, I've been working as an online English tutor, helping over 25 students prepare for exams such as TOEFL and SAT. This experience has taught me how to explain difficult concepts in different ways, adapt to individual learning styles, and make lessons both productive and engaging.
I can help you master Python/Java Script basics, loops, functions, object-oriented programming, data structures, recursion, and algorithmic problem-solving. Moreover, we can cover and learn together HTML and CSS for web development.
I'm patient, approachable, and genuinely enjoy sharing knowledge. My goal is to make programming less intimidating, help you gain confidence, and show you that solving problems with code can actually be fun!
Let's learn coding!
