I believe in a gentle and encouraging approach to teaching art. Being confident in your abilities is one of the most important aspects of artistic progress, as confidence builds motivation and allows students to continue practising and developing their skills. I believe that having a strong technical foundation is essential, as it gives students the freedom to become more creative and experimental with their work while still understanding the fundamentals of image-making.
I have been an artist and painter for over 20 years and have continued to expand my knowledge through both independent practice and formal education. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade and a Master’s degree from Escape Studios in London. Alongside painting, I have trained across a wide range of traditional disciplines including sculpture, mosaic, printmaking, and mixed media. During my studies, I also completed training in Teaching Methodology (Pedagogy), where I gained experience leading art classes for students aged 10–17. Through years of practice, experimentation, and teaching experience, I have developed an understanding of how to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles, ages, and levels of experience. I am happy to tailor lessons to each individual student, helping them build confidence, develop their personal style, and enjoy the creative process.
I am proficient in a wide range of media, including oil, acrylic, and watercolour painting, graphite and charcoal drawing, clay, and other sculptural materials. I can also provide lessons in digital art using programmes such as Clip Studio Paint, as well as guidance in illustration and portfolio preparation for art university applications. My experience across both fine art and digital practices allows me to support students interested in traditional art, illustration, concept art, or mixed creative pathways.
Alongside my own artistic practice, I have exhibited work in both Belgrade and London, including participation in multiple group exhibitions and the *Creative Minds* exhibition at Espacio Gallery.
Lessons are available in both English and Serbo-Croat.
