Hello! I'm Anna, your new online Italian teacher. Nice to meet you!

I am 34 and I live in a town near Venice, although within the next year I am going to relocate to Workington, in Cumbria.

I love the Italian language, and I can't wait to help you discover its world-renowned beauty. Although this is my first experience in teaching, I am excited to accompany you on your journey with passion and dedication. I am going to be a student just like you, so we're both going to have loads of fun as we learn from each other!

I am also very passionate about translation. In the past few years, I have been honing my skills as a volunteer translator for a variety of NGOs. I can translate and proofread a wide range of texts, including articles, reports, subtitles, and medical and legal documents.

In my spare time, I like to lose myself in a good book (I enjoy reading both fiction and non-fiction), try out new recipes in the kitchen (although things don't always work out) or explore nature by going on long hikes (while dramatically panting).

I believe that learning should be a dynamic and challenging experience, just like an outdoor adventure or a new dish, but I would like my virtual classroom to be a fun and safe space for my students, where they can feel at ease in a friendly environment.
