Anna Butler

Hello! My name is Anna - a tutor with over 2 years of experience working with pupils in a range of educational settings, including tutoring STEM subjects to students out of mainstream education. I always ensure I am friendly and enthusiastic and make my lessons as fun and interactive as possible, while keeping my content clear and concise.

I have achieved A*A*AA grades in my A-levels, including an A* in A-Level Biology through self-study. Therefore, I have the valuable personal experience of how to revise content effectively and prepare for exams, which I would be happy to help you with.

I like to mix up my lessons, using a combination of PowerPoint presentations which give step-by-step instructions and making the key points for the topic clear. Alongside this, my lessons have a clear focus on exam practise and teaching you what points you need to make to get those tricky marks that the examiners want. I ensure that I am interactive and do not conduct my lessons in a lecture style. Rather, I tutor in a two-way, conversational style to ensure that you fully grasp the content.

Currently, I am studying a BSc in Healthcare Science at the University of Manchester with a focus on Audiology. Alongside my degree, I am enthusiastic to share my studying and exam tips to help current A-level and GCSE students get those high grades that they are capable of and are working hard for.
