I grew up in Spain, daughter of two Swedish people. I learned how to speak Swedish at home and Spanish everywhere else. The best tool my parents and teachers used was movies, talking and then eventually reading – making it fun for me to learn languages.

Therefore I teach using the same methods: stories, conversation, and culture — through books, films, and TV shows to make Spanish fun and memorable. Whether you want to learn how to write an essay or a love letter, or whether you just want to know enough to get by whilst you move into your first place by the beach in Spain or South America – I'll cater and specialise the class to you and what you need and want to get out of the lessons. We'll mix vocabulary, listening, and speaking practice, helping you learn naturally while exploring Spanish-speaking culture.

Learning doesn't have to be stuffy and boring; with a little thought and care it can be made fun, and I'll have you speaking Spanish before you've even realised you're doing it. My goal is to help you feel confident expressing yourself, not just memorising grammar rules.
