My lessons are always thoroughly prepared, structured, interactive, and flexible; fully tailored to each student's goals and needs, whether that is to learn and master exam technique, strengthen core subject understanding, or boost grades with a little extra support.

I typically open with a quick review of previous material alongside discussing goals for the present lesson. I follow this up by teaching core concepts using clear explanations and visual tools if needed, delving into more detailed topics once a strong level of understanding has been reached. Personally, I specialise in making these detailed, complex topics accessible by breaking them down into manageable steps and working methodically. Finally, I always ensure to reinforce knowledge through exam-style practice, using worked examples to build confidence. After the lesson, I provide targeted feedback on both strengths and weaknesses that we need to focus on in the future.
Students are encouraged to ask questions and actively participate, collaborating with me even on worked examples, so that I can deepen my understanding of their thought process.

Having completed the IB only a year ago, I understand how important exam technique and mark scheme understanding is. My approach is very exam results-driven; but I also aim to help students develop their independent problem-solving skills and confidence.
