I have been tutoring for almost 14 months and have successfully honed my teaching methodologies for HSC Advanced Mathematics and HSC Extension 1 Mathematics (UK equivalent A-Level Further Maths). My students have gone on to enrol in the top universities in Australia, including the Australian National University (QS AU Rank #1), the University of Sydney (#3), and the University of NSW (#4). Having performed in the top 1% of the state for these subjects myself, I possess the vital first-hand experience to not only deliver superior academic guidance but also empathise with my students as they aspire towards tertiary education.

My approach to absolutely ensuring my students' understanding of their coursework, whether it be English, Mathematics, Music, or Biology, heavily relies on the theory of Constructivism, combined with modern techniques popularised by STEM education, including Project-Based Learning (PBL) and Problem-Based Learning. To commence these strategies, I first perform an initial screening to assess my students' strengths, weaknesses, and goals.

Based on my past experience, I am a firm believer of the student-centred approach and prefer building rapport with my students via one-on-one lessons. My lesson structure may vary to best accommodate the student's needs but tends to follow this general outline: 1) Revision Questionnaire, 2) Covering Past Gaps, 3) Covering Current Class Content, 4) Practice Questions (may include sample past papers or tests I may have composed myself), and 5) Assigning Homework.

I do not hesitate to incorporate games into my lesson to boost engagement with my students and am always open to provide assistance for subjects beyond those mentioned above.
