My Approach to Teaching
• Let’s be honest: staring at a screen for an online lesson can be mind-numbing if it’s just someone droning on. That’s exactly what I avoid. I design my lessons to be structured, highly interactive, and above all engaging, because that’s what actually keeps you focused and motivated. Every session we do is completely tailored to what you need right now, whether that’s boosting your grades, prepping for a major exam, or just unlocking a concept that hasn't clicked yet.
• How I Run My Lessons
I don't do boring, text-heavy slides or endless lectures. Instead, I like to break down complex topics using clear explanations, visual examples, and step-by-step guidance.
I structure our time together so it flows naturally and keeps you involved:
• The Check-In: We always start with a quick review of what we covered last time to make sure it really stuck.
• The Core: We dive into the new material, but we keep it dynamic. I mix in short quizzes, quick exercises, and interactive activities so you’re actively applying the concepts in real-time, not just passively listening to me talk.
• The Wrap-Up: We finish with some targeted practice tasks and feedback so you know exactly how you're doing.
Because everyone learns differently, I constantly track your progress and adjust my lesson plans on the fly to match your specific pace and learning style.
• My Style and Goal
My teaching style is patient, supportive, and deeply encouraging. I work hard to create a comfortable, judgment-free space where you feel completely confident asking questions and making mistakes, because that's exactly how learning happens.
Ultimately, my goal isn’t just to help you pull off better grades (though we’ll definitely target those). I want to build your confidence and independence so that, over time, you realize you have the tools to tackle the subject entirely on your own.
