Hi! I’m currently a Year 12 student offering support in GCSE English Literature. I achieved a grade 9 at GCSE and am predicted an A at A-Level, so I understand exactly what it takes to reach the highest grades.

My approach is tailored to each student. I take time to identify your goals, strengths, and areas for improvement, so our sessions are always focused and effective. Whether you need help understanding texts, analysing themes and characters, or structuring essays, I’ll guide you step by step.

A key focus of my tutoring is developing high-level analysis skills. I’ll help you go beyond basic ideas and learn how to write perceptive, detailed responses that meet Grade 9 criteria. We’ll also work on refining how you express your ideas, ensuring your answers are clear, sophisticated, and exam-ready.

Lessons are always at your pace, making sure you fully understand each concept before moving on. My aim is to build your confidence as well as your ability, so you feel prepared and capable in exams.

I can also support with exam techniques, including timing, planning responses, and understanding mark schemes. Together, we’ll practise past questions and develop strategies to maximise your marks in every section of the exam.
