With an MSc in Biomedical Science and years of experience working as a scientist, I bring biology to life beyond the textbook. I don’t just teach content — I help you understand it.

Alongside tutoring A-level Biology students, I have extensive experience training laboratory technicians in both theory and practical skills. In my current role at King’s College London, I also teach essential lab techniques to students, giving me a deep understanding of how biology is applied in real-world settings — not just how it appears in exams.

My sessions are discussion-led and tailored to how you think. We’ll break down complex topics together, using strategic questioning to build your confidence and deepen your understanding step by step. Instead of memorising facts, you’ll learn how to apply knowledge — the key to success in both GCSE and A-level exams.
We will be using past papers and developing strategies on how to answer questions in a way that gains maximum marks, an where applicable, use aids such as textbooks and videos.
I like to start by getting to know the student and finding out how they like to learn, and i tailor my sessions based upon what works for the individual- whether they prefer to learn through discussion, note taking, presentations or videos
I also draw on real-life lab experience, using practical examples and scenarios to show how biology works in the real world and it helps to contextualise the information they are learning. This makes topics more engaging, easier to remember, and far more meaningful.
