I enjoy learning and strive for students to feel the same way. Teaching for me is about finding what motivates each student, and combining that with my years of study to find an approach that encourages them to have fun and take pride in learning.
Using a variety of teaching methods, including flash cards, practice questions, and mnemonics, keeps students engaged and allows each lesson to cater to their individual personality and needs.
We will discuss the content the student finds most difficult, and work through these areas until they feel confident about the subject material. I encourage students to ask questions and propose methods they think would help them to learn, giving them a sense of responsibility and reducing stress when approaching new topics.

I have experience teaching students from ages 9-18 for various subjects, including A-level Biology and GCSE Science and Maths. I also hold a Master’s degree in Cancer Sciences, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology.
