I specialise in phonics and reading for early readers, progressing to English comprehension for KS1 and 2 SATs. I also specialise in early years maths up to year 6 SATs. I have taught all year groups but significantly early years, year 1 and 2. I am experienced in RWI ( read, write, inc), jolly phonics and letters and sounds phonics and White , Rose,Collins and 'Maths no problem' Maths schemes. I am a science specialist and have successfully taught and lead science and history through several schools. My degree is in history and English. I always chat to a student before teaching them to find their opinion on where they need support and spend the first session assessing their strengths and areas for development. I offer this first hour free to give each student and their family a chance to see if what I'm offering is right for them. No obligation whatsoever. I also do not expect a student to have to pay if they're ill or going on holiday etc. There will be no contract and clients may finish at any time, without notice or reason. I do this because I love it and the extra income is useful. I guarantee your child will love the sessions and benefit enormously. I will also prep students for SATs using school resources.
