My aim for the student is to offer excellent and targeted learning which addresses specific learning challenges that the student is currently facing. To equip students with exam preparation strategies and help them learn techniques that enable them to achieve and succeed in maths. I hope to encourage and motivate students to learn by recognizing that when they enjoy their subject, they are more likely to experience success. Lessons will be roughly an hour long depending on however long the student would want a lesson for. My lessons are specifically aimed at GCSE students. Although I am doing my A-Levels, I have achieved gold in the UKMT three times, which places me in the top 8% of those who enter the competition, which highlights how comfortable I am with the GCSE syllabus. I will go through certain topics which you would want me to go through, and after teaching you I will go through some basic questions, then some exam questions so you know how to answer the complicated/ harder questions to ensure you get the most marks possible. Although I specialize in mathematics, I can also teach biology and chemistry GCSE exam questions and techniques if necessary. After each lesson, I will assign a few questions as practice if the student would like, which will allow them to extend their knowledge and challenge themselves, and I will mark these and give some feedback when necessary. Please understand that the lessons will be at whatever pace the student needs them to be :)
