Let me tell you what makes my lessons different: I teach business as someone who has actually run one. I built my own company from nothing to over £1 million turnover, and today I advise national organisations on strategy while lecturing in business at UA92 in Manchester. So when we cover cash flow, marketing or business strategy, you won't just get the textbook definition. You'll get what it looked like when I had to do it for real, with my own money on the line. Students remember stories far better than definitions, and I have twenty years of them.

I'm a qualified teacher with an MBA and more than two decades of teaching and coaching experience, from post-16 learners right up to degree level and business owners. I tutor GCSE and A-Level Business Studies, and I support university students with business, strategy, management and leadership modules.

Here's how my lessons work. The first session is about you, not me. We work out exactly where you are, where you're stuck, and what your target grade needs, then build a plan to close the gap. After that, every session follows a simple rhythm: we tackle the topic in plain English, connect it to a real example so it sticks, then practise exam-style questions so you can prove it under pressure. Marking and feedback happen as we go, because knowing the content and scoring the marks are two different skills, and you need both.

Between lessons, you'll get short, focused tasks, never busywork. And I keep track of progress properly, because measuring improvement is what I do professionally as a quality assurer in education.

My style is patient, warm and honest. No jargon, no waffle, and no pretending something is fine when it needs more work. Sessions are online with shared notes and resources, or in person around Leigh, Liverpool and Manchester.

If you want a tutor who has taught it, examined it and lived it, I'd love to hear from you.
