Hi! I’m Andy, a qualified UK primary school teacher with over three years of classroom experience and a TEFL qualification. I’ve also taught students of all ages in China, Japan and Taiwan, and worked in supply teaching across a wide range of schools in the UK—so I’m used to adapting quickly and making lessons engaging for everyone.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs and learning style. I always start with a short chat to check in and set goals, followed by fun, focused activities that build confidence step by step. Whether it’s supporting with schoolwork, boosting key skills like reading and maths, or developing critical thinking and creativity, I aim to create a positive and encouraging space where learners feel safe to try, make mistakes, and grow.

I use a range of tools—games, stories, visuals, and interactive exercises—to keep things varied and dynamic. Having trained extensively in online teaching, I know how to make virtual lessons just as effective and engaging as those in the classroom.

I believe learning should be enjoyable and meaningful, so I always try to connect lesson content to real-life interests and experiences. Whether your child is a budding scientist, a reluctant reader, or just needs a bit of extra encouragement, I’ll work with you to create a personalised plan that supports their unique goals and strengths.
