My lessons may vary at times depending on what sort of help you may need - for instance if you would like to improve your exam technique and answering questions for your exams, lessons may be more focused on written practice and feedback, as well as practice through past papers and questions that I can also provide. If the lessons are focused more on general content and knowledge growth, they will be more interactive, where I can use my own previous experience and give you effective ways of memorisation and revision techniques. I have sat both A-Level and GCSE Computer Science exams, so I have lots of experience answering questions, methods for revision, and can provide general advice if needed in terms of studying as a whole. I am also currently at university studying Computer Science, so if further advice is needed for your next steps and any questions you may have studying CS at a higher level I can provide that for you.

I offer flexible lessons designed around each student’s needs and goals. Whether you’re looking to improve exam technique, strengthen your general understanding of Computer Science concepts, or boost your confidence, I can adapt each lesson to suit you.

For exam preparation, lessons can take more of a focus on past paper questions, developing your answers, and learning how to get as many marks as you can through improving your exam technique. This then lets me provide you with feedback and guidance so you can understand where to improve and how to approach different types of questions.

For students aiming to build their understanding of CS, lessons are more interactive and discussion-based. I can help explain things you may not understand, provide you with examples of how things may be used 'outside of just the textbook', and give you revision and memorisation techniques that I've personally used as well as others to help you fully understand topics you may not quite get yet.

Having completed both GCSE and A-Level Computer Science myself, I understand challenges students can face and certain skills you may need to succeed. As well as being able to provide advice for revision and your general study technique, I can also answer any questions and provide advice for progression to A-Level or University-level Computer Science, as I am currently studying the subject at university.
